Get involved in your child's learning
Learning Journey
At Ruskin Road Pre-school each child has a Learning Journey, which is a record of his or her experiences throughout their early education. Over time, it will tell a story about your child – their learning, their friends, the experiences they enjoy, and the activities they complete. This is also a lovely keepsake to have once your child moves on to big school.
Throughout the year there are opportunities to look through your child’s Learning Journey.
Parents morning
We have a parents morning twice a year, in November and May. These are an opportunity for you to come in and meet your child's key person. You can look at your child's Learning Journey and discuss how your child is making progress.
These are generally before we open in the mornings.
End of term activities
We hold a variety of activities at the end of term ranging from parties to stay and play events, all children are welcome and there is no additional cost.
